At the Market

The market is now closed for the 2011 season. We’ll be back in business the first Saturday in May. In the meantime, a number of our vendors are continuing to sell produce, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies at the Local Bounty store, Route 83, Coshocton -- near Lake Park. Stop in and check it out!

Sautéed Kale

4 cups chopped kale (½ lb.)
¼ cup chopped onion or green onions
2 tbsp. chopped garlic or scapes
Olive oil
Water

Sauté onions in oil, then add raw chopped kale and a few tablespoons of water. Cover and cook till kale is tender, about 8 minutes. Uncover for a few minutes to allow water to evaporate. Add salt and pepper or soy sauce if desired.
